TitleVest Education Center - Policies & Procedures
Policies & Procedures
We request that all attendees who have signed up and have been confirmed for our classes, to notify us within 48 hours of the class if you are unable to join us. Registration for future classes may be limited if you fail to notify us.
To complete your course and receive continuing education credit you must be in attendance for 90% of the class time. Your attendance will be recorded on the sign in/out sheet. If you don’t sign in our out, credit for the class may not be recorded with the NY DOS.
All courses are open to all persons whether or not they are licensed. TitleVest will not deny admission, base course fees, or base standards for successful completion of a course on a student's race, color, sex, religion, national origin, handicap, familial status, age, or sexual orientation. This school of real estate will operate in compliance with all local, state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Notification to TitleVest of any and all types of personal needs involving physical, emotional, and learning difficulties and/or needs related to the Americans with Disabilities Act is the sole responsibility of the student. While all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individual needs, it is conceivable that some conditions and circumstances are beyond our control.
CAUSE FOR DISMISSAL
A TitleVest instructor, administrator, or a consultant hired on behalf of TitleVest may preclude or dismiss a student from the classroom if a student may affect or is affecting the integrity of the learning environment. Conditions for readmission are based on the mutual agreement of the instructor, student and the education administrator.
If the class location is closed, plans on opening late, or closes early, we will change plans accordingly. Please check the class schedule for updates. In the event of a closure, we will notify students via email.
Students may receive a workbook, handouts, and other materials as a part of the course. Unless otherwise stated, the course materials are the property of First American Title and are not to be reprinted or distributed without permission.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION & RECORD RETENTION
Certificates of completion will be available to the student on this website within 30 days of the class completion. Students will be required to sign in at the beginning of class and sign out at the end of class. TitleVest will maintain student attendance records for 7 years as required by the state. If a student leaves class early, arrives late, or leaves the classroom for an extended period of time, he or she will not receive a certificate of completion.
